IN-VISIBILE
Natural elements, figures, shadows and landscapes come out of Brigitta Rossetti’s creative instinct; what is invisible comes to surface and becomes creative thought after a backwards journey into the history of mankind.
The perception of “ what lies dormant inside us”: it is the artist that can give voice to a fleeting moment of happiness, to a forgotten memory, to a hidden desire, but also to a moment of fear, of tension and anxiety.
Brigitta Rossetti’s art conveys the feeling of our belonging to the earth and to the shapes of nature; it is an eternal value that remembrances and memories keep alive in man’s soul.
The artist broadens space boundlessly in painting.
The atmosphere becomes surreal; time loses its temporal boundaries and is imbued with evocative power and spirituality.
Brigitta Rossetti is both painter and poet. Born in Piacenza, she now lives and works in Milan and Chicago; her works have been shown in many art exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
Here she exhibits three important works: three landscapes that, through the “invisible”, evoke a link with the recollection of places and events that have been known and experienced.
