Beyond the limits of matter
NIn the current moment of search, of contradiction and of continuous pursuit around the values of ART, the work of Brigitta Rossetti, a young and talented Milanese artist, enters the scene promisingly.
This author’s subject matter takes a lot beyond the limit of the stability of matter, as her painting, the result of a careful and mature search, tends to bare the surrounding world from its superstructures in order to centralize interest on the unconscious matrix of man, which loses its minor role and becomes the protagonist.
Brigitta then leaves us “records”, records of a particular and determined invention, direct and unmistakable records of our fears, contradictions, desires and dreams. This emotional power, emphasized knowledgeably especially in the use of the inks, is the result of an authentic and sincere power of expression which enters into our perception, with the magical encounter of memory.
This young artist’s reality thus becomes a purely interior fact and Brigitta does not need to abide to the world of that which is visible to represent it, but shows it to us like it is seen from inside her mind, immersed in a dense web of moral, sentimental and intellectual relations in which the filter of history, culture and faith are present in a clear and evident way.
Her art strives to and manages to become pure poetic expression, clear transcendental energy, capable of leaving a clear and indelible mark in the soul of those who know how to read her “records” with their heart.
